We built this because every other Saigon guide was written by someone who stayed in a District 1 hotel, ate at the tourist strip, and went home thinking they understood the city. They didn't. You deserve better.

Every itinerary on this site has been walked, eaten, and sweated through. Every food recommendation has been eaten — some of them dozens of times. Every tip has been learned the hard way so you don't have to learn it at the back of an overpriced taxi.
We update prices and hours regularly because Saigon changes fast. A stall that was here last year might be gone. A new hẻm café might have opened last month. We try to keep up.
